Our Commitment to Privacy
ApexDebloater is an open-source, local-first utility. We believe that your operating system should belong to you, and that privacy is a fundamental right.
Zero Data Collection
The application runs completely locally on your machine. We do not gather, store, or transmit any personal data, telemetry, hardware signatures, or system configurations to external servers. No telemetry is collected inside ApexDebloater itself.
Network Access
ApexDebloater only initiates outbound network connections in the following scenarios:
- Winget Package Scanning & Installation: Interfacing with official Microsoft Package Repositories to search and install software you explicitly select.
- DNS Configurations: Querying public DNS configurations to update your adapters.
Open Source Transparency
Every line of code in ApexDebloater is open source and available for review. You can inspect the source code, compile it yourself, and audit all registry modifications directly on GitHub.
